First Financial Bank (FFB) awards two scholarships annually to rising junior or senior students pursuing degrees in poultry science with the intent to pursue careers in the poultry industry. The deadline for all  scholarship applications is February 28, 2026.

Scholarships are awarded to deserving students who meet the academic criteria described below. Extra points are awarded to students whose families are poultry growers with FFB financing.

The scholarships are awarded as follows:

• First Place: $1,000

• Second Place: $500

Students applying for the First Financial Bank Scholarships must be:

• Currently enrolled at Mississippi State University as a full-time undergraduate

• A Poultry Science major

• A rising junior or senior in the year in which the scholarship is awarded
